Fall in January

After the big freeze a couple of weeks ago all the leaves on the trees finally died off.

We came home from a weekend away to find that the wind had blown them all off.

The driveway was covered and the kids wanted photos.

Now that I think about it this is how it is most years. The leaves don't really give up until January.  Funny how it is so different from most places in the US.
